Pre-registration is over, thanks to all of you who took the time to do so!
If you are interested in participating tomorrow and HAVE NOT registered yet, meet us at the Capitol Building (1 E. Edenton Street) at 1 PM for registration, the cost is $15 cash. We MAY be able to process credit/debit via Google Checkout on a mobile platform, but don't count on it and be sure to bring cash just in case! If you HAVE registered, be sure to show up at the same time so we can get you processed and ready to roll.
The weather is clear and mild (perfect for biking!), our prizes are all in, and our staff is ready to make this event happen. We are very excited, and can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

Please note: we will be ending pre-registration on Friday at midnight! If you register day-of, it is going to be $15 and you will need to pay cash. It's almost race day!
Ahhhh it is almost time for HouseCat! The weather looks to be cool, clear, and very nice for cycling. You all should try to pre-register, because it's cheaper for you, and will let us process everything MUCH quicker the day of! Plus, if you are over 21 years of age, you'll get a cool gift for pre-registering. Click the "Registration" button on the bar above to be taken to the registration page.
We still need volunteers, as well! So holler at us at housecatrace@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out.
Not sure we have time to take pictures of some more of our prizes, but I'll go ahead and list some of the ones we don't have up here yet...hopefully we will have time to take some snapshots before Saturday!
- Custom painted SE Lager Frame and Fork, from Cycle Logic
- Autumn Black Bag, from Seagull Bags
- Pedal Straps and LOTS of swag, from HoldFast
- Raleigh Times Gift Card, from Empire Eats
- Coffee Tumbler and Gift Cards, from Benelux Cafe
- Chocolate Bars, from Videri Chocolate Factory
- Issues of Urban Velo and Coozies, from Urban Velo
...plus more stuff that I need to pick up this week, and more stuff that I am probably forgetting. Suffice to say, we have tons of stuff to give away so be sure to bring a couple extra bucks for the raffle!
Also, we are excited to be working with the DHIC to help educate everyone about affordable housing in our community! They will also be speaking to everyone on race day about this issue.

Flier!
Here is our race flier! Big thanks to our friend Chris for helping us out with this one.
Also, we are proud to be working with the North Carolina Housing Coalition! They will be out there on race day to talk with you all a little bit about affordable housing issues in our area. Also, a few of them ride bikes which is always awesome :)

More sponsors, and volunteering opportunities
We would like to welcome our newest race sponsors, Seagull Bags and The Raleigh Times/Morning Times! Got some great prizes coming from them, stay tuned for more info on that.
We'd also like to point out that even if you're not able/interested in racing, we need some more volunteers to help out at the race with registration, manning the checkpoints, and helping us set up/clean our staging areas. If you're interested, please email us at housecatrace@gmail.com.
The weather has been beautiful lately, let's hope this will be a continuing trend!

More sponsors!
Here are some more of the sponsors we have confirmed!
Tasty Beverage Co
Cycle Logic
Triangle Fixies
Vitamin Water
Urban Velo
We should have a few more by the end of the month!
One of our sponsors was kind enough to donate some cool prizes to give out to the first 25 or so people who pre-register for the race. The kicker is, you have to be at least 21 years old to get one...we won't say what it is, but we can tell you it isn't what you are expecting.
